The very foundation of the American Red Cross is its volunteer work force. Our paid staff provides the guidance to attract, involve, and develop a diverse and intergenerational volunteer work force so that the American Red Cross of Portage County can continue to provide effective services that are responsive to the changing needs of the American public. Either through leadership or direct services our Red Cross volunteers and paid staff, work together to deliver on the American Red Cross promise, "WE"LL BE THERE!"
