The American Red Cross of Portage County would like to help you "Be Red Cross Ready"
 
The Portage County Red Cross offers Community Disaster Education Presentations on a wide variety of topics. These presentations last an average of 30-45 minutes and are usually power point based.
 
A trained Disaster Action Team member is usually the presenter. This trained disaster responder combines both the information from the presentation with his or her real life experience to provide a very informational presentation.
 
CDE presentations can cover any number of the following topics:
Earthquakes
Fire Safety
Floods
Tornadoes
Extreme Heat
Lightning
Sheltering in Place
Winter Stroms
 
(Note: A standard presentation covers any two of the above mentioned topics)
